Well they record the vocals and guitar separate so your album is perfect. When he plays live its a simplified version of the riff, and the riff is left to the lead player. Check out the live anniversary performance of Rust in Peace

Thaanks for your comment, in fact that's the part that Friedman plays. You can check that in recent live versions of Poison Was The Cure. Broderick plays this part whereas Mustaine plays the chords. :)

I have to say, this is possibly my favourite song from Megadeth other than Tornado of Souls, just because, and probably the whole Rust in Peace album. I;ve seen tonsss of covers of this song, and I know of only one person that can destroy this song just as much as Marty Friedman did, and that was: RR0849. But that was 7 years ago. You my friend have played this almost to perfection, but what i love most about this cover is how articulate and pronounce the sound of almost every note you play is. It just goes to show your speed is not the problem with this cover at all, I think to make it just that much better is to work on the attitude you give when playing some of the chorus riffs, give it more of a bendy feel, Marty is very fluid with his playing, very flexible with the tempo and adds in some style. Just minimal critism from a huge fan, I hope you don't take it negatively. You are a true master, total respect and I hope the best for you to all the years.

I'd love to be able to play the guitar in a style like Marty, but this is just so frikkin hard :) When I made this cover, I didn't pay as much attention on the articulation as I do nowadays, if you watch my rather recent Hangar 18 cover for example. It's also not perfect, but for Hangar 18 I used a backing track without guitars so you can only hear my playing. It's way more honest this way. And I also need to pay attention to how I articulate the bends and stuff, so that's how I try doing things now :DI'd be very happy if you subscribed to me, again, thank you for your kind words.
