I had a very similar thing happen a few years ago, I didn't honk as I passed but I looked over and gave him a shit-eating grin. And the guy looked like he was possessed by a demon, just losing his mind in impotent rage. White-knuckle grip on the steering wheel, not so much rocking back and forth as he was slamming himself against his seat back, while clenching his teeth and doing this high pitched whine-growl, like "NNEEENNGGHH NEEENNNGHH NEENNNNGHH" every time he whacked the seat.

I saw a bust irl yesterday, at red light (I was across street) cop walks up to car trapped behind another car at red light, he has a AR, then instantly a few cars lit up with Siriens Unmarked Nissan ALTIMA, Ford Taraus and Pickup Truck ?? Response times even in well staff metro regions can be several minutes out giving more than enough time to gap the pursuing cop and evade them 2. you assume the officer is going to get a good look at the license plates of 4 cars, at night, far outpacing him, and do so clearly which in these situations is almost never the case. those guys are getting away unless they screw up or surrender

I havent seen much about it for a few days, but apparently the drugs were in the cab and not the trailer. They eventually ended up shooting out the tires and used spike strips, then shot the engine block with a .50 to stop it. The trailer had auto parts iirc

@@gsdalpha1358 actually the police pick and chose which laws to obey all the time. Most drivers traveling above the speed limit because the limits are not based on safety or engineering and are too low. The arbitrary and seemingly selective enforcement makes it worse as it forces drivers to make a choice between driving what is obviously dangerous given the normal flow of traffic, IE following the speed limit at all costs, or trying to judge what is both safe and acceptable by law enforcement who know most people speed and that the speed limit is not followed because it is too low for highway travel. It's a catch-22 that should be eliminated through PROPER evaluation at the engineering level and legislative overhaul proving affirmative defense against speeding tickets where exceeding the speed limit poses no actual danger to the public.

What's the safe speed for a 92-year old or a 16-year old, or someone with poor vision, or heavy fatigue, or bald tires and a busted shock? I'm sure Mario Andretti could safely drive 180 mph on an interstate - but other drivers can't anticipate how fast he's traveling or react accordingly. The "public" is all those various drivers and skill sets, vehicles, and road conditions. Sounds like you argued those same things in traffic court (more than once) and lost. Maybe you're sure you can handle 80 mph on the interstate. Thing is, it's going to take you two football field lengths to stop. Frankly, I don't trust other drivers enough to play those odds. I've yet to see GTA play out well in real life. Your insurance premiums must be a biatch.
