Nice work Todd. I still think MegaFlo sounds like it should be something in the Transformers film or cartoons. Optimus Prime Vs MegaFlo

Love your videos mate, would love to see more installation rather than explaining after you have done the install. For example with the Essex renovation you talked about the boiler install and the boom it was completed would loved to have see some footage of you piping that up.

Haha sorry mate, that’s the problem when it’s only me, i’m trying to balance filming for instagram/tik tok and longer format stuff for KZbin and actually getting the work done for my customer so it’s a tricky balance but i’ll try and film me piping up for ya in the next series

@@glisterservices top man. Don’t pressure yourself though was just a thought, still love all your content 👌👌👌

Without the correct height for your D1 & D2 pipework to outlet can you use a discharge pump?. Lovely install as always Todd❤

This is fantastic, have been working my way through your videos over the last day. I am currently looking to prepare for a new career and am looking at completing a Plumbing & Heating Engineer course! These videos make me want to get it done so much sooner!

Ah mate, such a nice message. Best of luck with it all!

Thanks for the great video mate. When you say McApline fittings are compliant, is that because of the heat that could be discharged? I always solvent weld was also compliant or does have to polypropylene? Thanks mate 👍🏻
@glisterservices8 ай бұрын
Solvent weld for use in D2 does not comply unless you buy the high temperature stuff from terrain, it must be either push fit (which i hate using) or mcalpine fittings and it must be clipped every 300mm

Thank you for sharing mate Where’s the Expansion vessel or we don’t it
@glisterservices7 ай бұрын
With the brand Megaflo, it has patented an internal air gap which acts as the expansion vessel so you do not need one, it seems a lot of people don’t know this!

Love your videos. True comment regarding keeping up with the industry. What's your thoughts on HotTun? Currently service and repair for the big blue company. But who knows what future holds. Thanks Todd. P.s hopefully more updates on house soon. Thanks as always.
@glisterservices7 ай бұрын
HotTun is a great little invention, for me i like to use McAlpine as i use all the other fittings etc, never had any issues with it so far, in fact if i was to pick one plumbing brand that i love the most it’s probably mcalpine, everything they make is incredible

@glisterservices Thanks for comment Todd. Plumbing new to me. Away to buy our forever home so learning as much as I can then give it a go. Appreciate the time and effort these videos take. Thanks. P.s love the new tattoo haha

Can’t see MCWS 2 kitchen, 🧐???
@glisterservices8 ай бұрын
It’s all on the mains!
@mobou62988 ай бұрын
Well, my understanding is that straight after the main stopcock, u are meant to have a dedicated feed/pipe to ur kitchen sink(potable water) referred to Megaflo schematic. It doesn’t appear in ur video u v done that; all we see is two isolators in series; one would have been enough if ur kitchen main comes from ur balanced mains!!!!
@glisterservices8 ай бұрын
@@mobou6298 So the kitchen sink is plumbed in on the balanced main. It only says that on the instructions as you could feed the mains into a softener before feeding the megaflo, but in this case everything is on the mains through the scale defender and balanced at 3bar so is perfect for the appliances in the kitchen
@mobou62988 ай бұрын
Well that’s not right, ur MCWS to ur kitchen tap is unbalanced, that’s as simple as that. Refer to Manufacturer
@glisterservices8 ай бұрын
@@mobou6298 What difference does it make if it’s at 3bar or not 😂
