I have finally realized. Chara is not evil at all! I was holding on to her being evil because at the end of a genocide route she destroys the world to make a new one. But I have finally realized that she does this because even if the player stopped, the player has killed everyone in the underground and everyone she cared about... Wait doesn't she prevent the sparing of Asgore and Flowey/Asriel? Regardless, your soul is a fitting price to pay for everyone back after you've killed them all. And now I'm pretty sure that those ominous things she does at the end of a Post Genocide Pasifest route are to scare the player. She can't really control the player, at a fundamental level that simply doesn't work, but she can make you worry. Well, that's my thoughts. I might be completely wrong, or just slow to realize these things.

Trae Hignight Chara would totally destroy everything. They make you hit erase. Sure you did bad things during a genocide route but Chara supports your killing of their adoptive family. They pretty much kill Asgore (his soul persist because boss monster) allows you to kill Toriel in one hit, they kill Asriel brutally and that “smile” they have was always theirs. They were hinted to have poisoned Asgore, bullied Asriel and try to get him to be their host, they are happy to see their sharp knife again, and if you almost abort a genocide route by going to a new location before the kill counter turns to “determination” Chara will tell you to go back. After Toriel brings Chara’s body to the ruins, the players human soul takes up their body and the game begins. “Greetings, I am [name].” “Thank you” “Your power awakened me from death” “My human soul” “My DETERMINATION” “They were not mine, but yours” “HP. ATK. DEF. GOLD. EXP. LVL.” “Every time you a number increases, that feeling...That’s me” . . . “The demon that comes when people call it’s name” “It doesn’t matter when” “It doesn’t matter where” “Time after time, I will appear” Chara’s plan failed when Asriel refused to kill anyone and Chara died with him, and it should have stayed that way but after the battle in the judgment hall of determination vs power (you v sans) they come back and erase the world after killing the only people who loved them.

I love how you portray Chara as chaotically insane, but not evil. You definitely pull of the fact that they’ve snapped, without making it seem like they wanted this. Chara watched the player kill everyone they love, until they joined in, laughing off the pain, feeling like it was the only way to not feel helpless and pathetic. They’re a scared, angry, broken child, but they smile so wide and laugh so loud that they believe they’re enjoying it. Amazing vocals. This is an insanely fast song and you pulled it off flawlessly, teach me your ways. The vocals were amazing and powerful, the emotion was great, the giggles were a great touch, it was perfectly creepy, AH I JUST LOVE THIS!!!
