@MichaelWebb-py6jdАй бұрын
Finally watched this and to be honest it wasn’t no where near as bad as everyone was saying. Yeah it looks artificial at times and the third act could’ve used some reworking but the sheer audacity of this movie had me cheering for Coppola. I was saying “Hell yeah! Coppola, go for it!” 😆😆 I unironically liked it for the reasons people didn’t.
@ForeverBrooklynNYCАй бұрын
it's ok to say that you like objectively bad movies
@MichaelWebb-py6jdАй бұрын
@ “Objective”. Lol! Don’t you think that word is used a little too much? To be honest there’s nothing objective about movies, books, music or anything artistic. You may not like something but that just means YOU didn’t like it. It doesn’t mean it’s “objectively bad”. I think the more appropriate phrase would be it’s “subjectively bad”. I’m not defending the movie or anything but that word is starting to get kind of cringe now.

@@kingofgarbagemountain I didn’t hate it and didn’t think it was terrible the way a lot of people said but it was over the top at times but that’s okay. It’s Coppola we’re talking about here. Lol! I thought the third act was a little wonky but all in all I thought it was a typical Francis Ford Coppola movie. Bombastic and pretentious. So what!? I’d rather watch a big swing and a miss than the other garbage that you forget about after you saw it. I just hate those phrases “Objectively good” or “Objectively bad”. They’re ridiculous things to say when it comes to anything that’s an artistic work be it movies, books, music or painting. It’s all completely subjective.
