This needs to be a thing The level design leading up to the boss will be the five main parts of the game: The Ruins, Snowdin, Waterfall, Hotland, then the Core. The enemies will obviously be the ones from the game in their own specific areas with their normal attacks. Some there will be a hiden Glyde you have to solve a puzzle to kill. If you only kill the ones that are obstacles that must be destroyed to progress, he will leave the area and you'll find a note in your inventory that says "Try again," and won't get the ability. If you kill every enemy, however, you get to fight Sans. Of course, his difficulty will be the same as in the game. His ability Megaman receives will be the DT Bone. It's an automatic homing bone attack and Gaster Blasters that shoot horizontally. And there will be some way to avoid killing anyone at all, and doing so will let you see him in the room with an animation of him giving a thumbs up and just straight up handing you the ability and vanishing. Please... someone out there... I ＮＥＥＤ this to be a thing...

+TopHatLucario Probably not. Sans is one of the strongest characters in fiction in my opinion, he uses the forth wall not just for jokes but as a weapon. And that's something no other character has ever done.

Sans knows that you posses the ability to reset and redo anything you want (based on Tophatlucarios comment other video game protagonists would also have the power to do so in their universe.) and that's why he never decides to engage the player until they've almost reawoken the fallen child. Because Sans is scared of you. He's scared because he knows that even if he kills you, you can reset and try again, and again, and again, and again until you find a way to defeat him, no matter what he does. So essentially he can be defeated by any video game protagonist, the difference is just that he's aware that you're the one in control of the game and no one else. He's not trying to defeat the kid we're playing as, he's trying to make us quit. And monsters as described in Undertale are obviously much weaker then Humans, its a major plot point and all. If a small kid could easily murder hundred of inhabitants, imagine what a trained warrior could do.

Everyone is saying that sans went easy on megaman, but anyone who has actually played a megaman game knows it's the other way around.I mean seriously, megaman has over 14 different games, each game he gets 8 new weapons, that's over 111 weapons that megaman has. (I know it should be 112 but fuck top man's weapon, that's like the only weapon that wouldn't be able to kill sans) Plus I've seen way tougher bosses in the original megaman games than your fan made sans fight in this video (no offense btw). Also megaman has killed bosses that have stats over 30 effortlessly. Now if we remember the fact that both of sans's stats are 1, megaman would kill sans in about 2 shots and take sans's gaster blaster as just a reminder of that puny skeleton who stood no chance. Now that we are on the topic of fighting back, sans wouldn't even have a reason to fight megaman, the only reason that he fought the player was because you killed all of his friends and family, megaman isn't the kind of robot who would just kill a whole species for no reason. Edit: I came back to this comment because I found out that just about anything sans can do megaman can do better. Sans has a laser, megaman has 15, 16 if you count X's laser sword. Sans has some bones, megaman has a shuriken, a saw blade, bombs, fire, snakes, etc. the only thing megaman can't do better is the 30 damage a second that sans has, he can still do it by performing a glitch in one of the original games(this counts as an ability because sans doesn't even follow the rules of his own game) but he can only do it on enemies with big hitboxes and even when you pull it off you only get about 5dps.

God damn I love your comment it's finally somebody with common sense. Except that Top Spin is a very useful weapon(it kills pretty much every minor mook in one hit, how's about that?). And to people who say "Wah butt snas can dodge", he can't dodge forever. And Rain Flush and Centaur Flash attacks everyone on screen so Sans couldn't even dodge if he wanted to.
