you may already know this, but megalovania is actually older than undertale. i don’t know exactly which version came first, but there are four that i believe Toby Fox wrote as “soundtrack”. the first two were fan songs for Mother 3, and Earthbound, around 2008. a few years later, megalovania became official as soundtrack for Homestuck. Undertale came fourth. all of these versions have a unique sound, Homestucks being my personal favourite! EDIT: the Mother 3 version is actually in the game, but wasn’t written by Toby. He did give permission, however.
