Hear me out, an Undertale-Doom spin off based off Outertale where monsters are more serious and technicaly advanced to space travel, have special forces, for which sans signed up, after serving in royal army, since it pays more and you basically protect scientists and researchers on spaceships during expeditions which are mostly pretty boring. One day they discover a planet full of life with a moon near it, so they create a complex on it, to study the planet. After that famous royal scientist tries to find a way to create a portal device that would establish a connection to the Home planet (Asgore is still not the best with naming). And he succeeds. After that they continue to work on complex and researching both moon and Earth. sans volunteered to scout the moon first and discovered buildings of other civilization on the other side of the planet, even though life detectors that scanned the surface of the planet showed signs of magic energy. As he rushes back to the base he discovers that the worst already happened. Now he needs to clear the base from the invaders, and make it home before they do. (spoiler ending: "justice for pap"
