Listening to this reminded me of how I've tried to do my version, 4 years ago. Not smart enough to use FL Studio and trying to remake it by scratch, the result was such a catastrophe... (hahahaha) BTW, I'm still loving what you've done. i love MM7 sounds to death. you could be onto something though. it's a very epic rockin' sound, MM7. the most in the franchise along with X1-3. i think it does work for these, largely. i found MM10 soundtrack to be inferior to MM9 soundtrack but i feel like they're improved here. the quirkiness isn't there but it makes up for it in power.

TheTaskmaster The Quirkiness of the original is the main reason why it took awhile for the song to grow on me, but I really love both the remake and the original. Personally, I have been a huge fan of the MM7 instruments and the fact that the instruments sound very energetic, if they`re used correctly.

PrincessZelda2020 It took me a while to appreciate the original as well, but it is now one of my favorites in the series. I really do like your remix, but I just can't appreciate it as much as the original. Quirkiness is one of the defining features of the song. I mean, the song is called Cyber Sheep's Dream. I like to listen to the song and picture a half-sleeping robotic sheep with its head in the clouds counting sheep. Turning it into a powerful energetic rock song like one might do with, say, Strike Man's theme just seems out of place.

There's also the fact that many robot masters' attacks contain the same word as their title(Fire Man - Fire Storm, Bubble Man - Bubble Lead, etc.), and being that Thunder Wool is his attack, it makes all the more sense.

in my opinion sheep man is pretty suitable name for him. not because he is made of wool or anything but more because of the fact that his level(and bgm) are meant to be a mechanical take on dreams and dreaming(counting sheep u know...)

Well,I do agree that the name is silly (Sheep Man,really Capcom?),but the Sheepster himself is kinda cool.His theme is techno-like,his battle does have some degree of predictability,but with Bass,his battle is a CAKE WALK.Why?Aimable buster.When he become his Thunder Wool form,just shoot up.His weapon also sucks,like his name.
