Bn1 has the most flinching in the series. Later games let you combo more. My strats used involved attacks of low damage to not flinch the enemy as much. That being said bn1 overall is very easy.

@@Megaman-2407 thats another thing, from day 2, bn1 allows you to go to end game areas ultra early, right after numberman and you can beef up your arsenal if you can play well

Sooooorta. They are situational, they only excel against enemies that dont flinch from the attack they cause, and they often require some setup. I find them too cumbersome to use in regular gameplay, but fun to mess around with. BstrGuard is lousy though.

Why are the battles against Bombman all the way to Bass have the regular duel background? Since you fight them on the net, they should have the usual background with the "e" letters.

I had enough of the RNG, so I changed Protoman's battle to each of those, so I can access the fight realiably. There is no way to influence encounters in bn1, no sneakrun, no loc enemy. So I had to resort to this. I could have changed the Bg to the correct one, but I couldn't figure out how.

@@yumaoverstar Understandable. For recording purposes, it's frustating to depend so much on RNG.

@@DiogoJ1 Worse yet, I'm going for specific strats, and other than fast gauge, I have no influence over chip RNG. In other titles, you'd have regulars, custom +1/2, chip shuffle, tag chips etc. In bn1, your only method of influence is having your chips at the top of the folder. So not only do I have to run into the bastards, but then have the correct draws on my 1st or 2nd turn. I also cant speedup the emulator to cycle fights quicker, and there is no run button. It really is just waiting for the stars to allign, and that gets infuriating.

Very much can. Rules are different in earlier BN titles. You can have up to 5.
