Okay so here are some details about the armor parts' locations
Foot Part
Jungle
Boss - Web Spider
Area - 1
Description - Behind the Waterfalls
Head Part
Cyber Space
Boss - Cyber Peacock
Area - 1
Description - Get an S rank in the Third area
TIP - You can use Soul Body (Split Mushroom) to clear the yellow orbs
Buster Parts
Airforce
Boss - Storm Owl
Area - 2
Description - On the upper area with spikes before you enter the mini-boss
Note: You need to use Web Spider's weapon to get on the upper part. There are TWO buster types, the first one is the 4th/Force Armor's Buster, and on the back part of the platform is the Ultimate Buster
TIP: Don't do a Dash Jump from the web... and I suggest you get the Ultimate Buster
Magma Area
Boss - Magma Dragoon
Area - 2
Description - The upper area near the Power Suit, behind the Magma Wall
Note: You also need Web Spidey's weapon to get there and you also need the buster part to CHARGE Slash Beast's weapon to break the Magma Wall

Armor Parts Functions
Foot Part
Hover - Allows X to float for around 2 seconds by pressing JUMP twice
Head Part
Infinite Weapon - Weapon Gauge does not decrease... naah~ Weapon Gauge still decreases, but only when Charge Shots are used
Buster Part - 4th/Force Buster
4-Shots - Charges up to 4 Level 2 Charged Shots. Uses 1 Charge per Shot
Charged Weapon - X can now use a Charged version of his weapons
Buster Part - Ultimate Buster
Plasma Shot - Charge Shot is now stronger. An electrical sphere is left when Charged Shot Lv3 hits an enemy, this sphere continuously deals minor damage for around 2 seconds.
Charged Weapon - Same with 4th/Force Buster
Body Part
Nova Strike - 4th/Force Armor's GIGA ATTACK, similar to Ultimate Armor's Nova Strike but only with narrower range (because it doesn't have any Wings like on Ultimate's)
Weapon Recover - Refills Nova Strike's weapon gauge each time X takes damage
Defense Up - Increases X's defense (I think it doubles X's defense)

Playing x4 for the first time because of the megaman x legacy collection and wow this game is hard. Having a hard time getting the buster upgrade!

yeah that part really is the hardest. If you haven't got it yet try not to do a Dashed Jump (holding dash button then jumping) when going through the spikes

hanielstoners Finally got it after like 20 tries lol. I couldn't get high enough on the jump off the web. I think I was positioning the web just ever so slightly off.

Getting the arm upgrade was absolute hell. I made the mistake of leaving with the four-shot one, so I had to traverse up there AGAIN to get the right weapon. 😬

Getting to the body Armor piece in volcano level you don’t have to move the raiden Armor to use the lightning web jump. You can use the raiden Armor and do a dash jump and then jump out of the Armor to reach the ledge.

Just got the complete armor for the first time ever. Started playing it seriously finally, after getting rid of the collection more than a decade ago. Had to order it on ebay cuz it’s near impossible to find anymore. Now I find myself expanding my classic nes, snes, 64, PSX and ps2 collection and never getting rid of anything again.

Just use epsxe. I don't physically own the game either and I'm playing it on my laptop (that's right a laptop you read that right, not a beast of a PC with a 10 core processor, 30 gigs of ram, the new rtx 4090 gpu, and an ssd) with an xbox controller

How do you use the mtank? I have it. But it's not on the pause menu. I can't find it. But it says I have it when I save/load my save file. So i know i got it. But how do I find it to use it?

Do you mean the heart-shaped pink tank? It allows you to start a stage with more lives, if I remember correctly it gives you 4 starting lives after a gameover

You get to choose from both. Its your choice on preference

The last comment was okay. But if you are not playing on keyboard, to know the button you have to: Press Start. Then go to the bottom, in Option button. In this setting you can find the Button Configuration. Then you have to find the button that activates Giga Attack

not really, you dont need any weapons to do that part, you can go throught it normally without many problems, but its easier using mushrooms weapon, thats for sure

You have to enter the pods to change them there are 2 where you get the first arm upgrade

In order: Web Spider 1, Cyber Peacock 1, Storm Owl 2 (I think it’s stage 2, but I could be wrong. It’s after the lasers none the less.), Magma Dragoon 2. I would recommend getting Soul Body before going to Cyberspace though, since it can destroy the yellow death balls.

Not if you use "Soul Body" weapon on the yellow eyeball spheres. They get destroyed when touched by Soul Body. And you only need to get "S" rank on part three of the stage, not in all three parts.
