I feel like the story behind this remix is centered around a PTSD-riddled X, drowning his sorrows at a bar after he made one small error that cost the lives of half the city, some years prior. Then as the music builds, he hears reports on the tv of Reploid activity in the very neighborhood he's in, and finally as the music drops, he kicks the door down and opens fire on all the berserk robots, fighting for order in the streets as well as to try and regain that part of himself that he lost.

This is great! I was just doing some 3-note repeaty wanna-be Moonlight Sonata thing on my piano. I walked that fake action down and back up and suddenly I was flooded with memories of X4-Sky Lagoon.
