some bootlegs are crazy, I decided to go all out and embrace my degenerate self and buy the Mizuki Bunny figure, Xinhao version: she looks, feels and weighs like a genuine one, truly my new crown jewel I just wish more stores would specify what factory the figurines come from, to me MX and XH only from now on, they are crazy good!

Oh prize figure are versatile,put it at work desk without taking so much space...kind of bringing down the tension,a little companion while building gunpla,can be displayed on dasboard to remind me to drive slow since i have other to take care of....more cool if you display it with the box arround some comics collection like on my friends room.

I would like to know your opinion since you seem to have seen and owned several bootlegs already. I would love to start a collection of these sexy figures but i like to ask questions and hopefully get answers. First, ive seen variations of a specific figure which they named common quality then high quality hardware and high quality software, common quality is the cheapest and from what Ive seen they mostly have issues regarding imperfections like seam lines and paint like shiny skin tones and I’m not interested on those things, now my question is, also based on actual pictures of the high quality hardware and software, it seems that software is more superior compared to hardware and you can also notice a difference in paint job which makes the software look a lot closer to the authentic one, am i correct with my observation? Second it doesn’t apply to all figures since like for example the baseball girl skytube figure, to me it seems like the hardware is much better since the clothes are more intact and not loose and looks more accurate unlike the software variant which looks like a mess and looks like it wouldn’t hold its place. I also noticed that most of your bootleg figures are hardware, may i know why? Do you prefer the hardware version than the soft one? I also don’t trust figures without the box bec they might just send you the common quality, are there really sellers who sell high quality hard and soft without the box?

That observation is correct too, some soft figure like my Gal JK has good quality alternative soft body but their skin durability are questionable, if it's come dented or have defect on skin then most likely you're doomed since theres nothing you can do, if the expensive Phicen doll could be broken(teared up skin) better not to expect much from Aliexpress 2 digits price soft figurines. And yeah i mostly buy hard version as a priority since it's skin is easy to be cleaned and polished with sandpaper, some paintjob mistake on the costume can be repaired with Gundam or DSPIAE markers, and i only buy soft version if there are no other choice.... Well on last question i'd like to say i only trust to the seller and they did send what their customer ordered, they need regular buyers too, sometime some parts are left and they send it with my new orders or partial refund on dispute.

Never thought about the durability of those soft version and it’s so true that the hard version imperfections can be fixed while the soft ones aren’t always possible. I just wished that the high quality hard version figure also has the on point details of the soft ones and level of paint job bec some other high quality hard versions have that shiny skin color that a common quality has. I don’t have problems with the face bec it’s up to par with the soft ones. If I ended up with a shiny skin tone, will spraying/painting it with clear matte gundam paint fix it?

@@bootlegfiguresyt6802 another big thanks for sharing your best practices and for the link. I think I wouldn’t worry much now about the shine anymore. I just hope I get really good quality bootlegs once I start on my collections. You really have a good channel right here that would be a big help for beginners like me and other bootleg collectors out there. Glad I bumped into your channel bec before I wanna start purchasing these figures I thought soft version would be the best but considering your insights I might also stick with high quality hard version since they will just end up in display and I don’t plan on touching them everyday. I just noticed that most soft versions have the correct details even to the tiniest one and the paint is closer to the original. But what I don’t like about soft ones, for example the baseball girl, I noticed that the underwear isn’t tucked into the skin compared to the hard version which gives you the impression that she’s wearing a tight panty which for me is a plus coz it adds more realism and for me, makes it sexier since I like thicc looking figures. Now going through the comments section I also learned that there are figures which is produced by MX and XH. Or ManXiang and Xinhao respectively. Bec one said that if the figure came from those then you wouldn’t worry much about getting a bad copy of a figure. Bec while browsing through shops I’ve seen these names on the description but didn’t consider what they meant.
