The actual English version feels like a song from Goku's perspective, and it's an incredible song, don't get me wrong. However, this version feels more like it's a song about Broly, the actual main character of the movie. It really feels much more representative of what the movie was trying to convey, and I think it's beautiful in that regard. Fantastic job. I love your work.

I don't know if you'll read this, Megami, but I want to thank you for this. I'm currently going to a rough period mentally, and I've been feeling like absolute shit. Dark thoughts, negative thoughts... The whole shabang that others who deal with this shit know oh-so well... And while I was listening to the lyrics... It all fit. It's like it both describes what I'm going through and encourages me to keep going despite it while not being a weepy, sad song. It has hope in its beat and feeling in its lyrics. It's what I needed in this moment. The light breaking through the blocks. It's so easy to give in to the negativity, to accept it and sit here pitying oneself, thinking someone else will clear the way, but in the end it's all on you to do it yourself. I lowkey might prefer this version over the original and I've done nothing but listen to the original for nearly a month straight. This version sounds just so majestic while the other has power behind the sound. Your voice is just so damn good for the lyrics and how it's talking about Broly.
