I'd say the rating. The villains were made for a PG movie (they came before the video games), but were scrapped to streamline the other plots. The video games brought them back. The new stuff is rated G, though. So a flirty cougar would be hard for them to use. Psycho Delic, likewise, is probably a bit morbid for a G rating. Destruction Worker, however... Well, he might be making a comeback :) The three were their favorites (they're the ones that were going to be in the original movie for a reason, after all), so I'm sure they're trying to see what they can do with them. But it's going to be really hard to get a character like Hot Flash in without changing her personality, which would sort of ruin the character. And that's probably why they revamped some of their other concepts. Lady Doppler, Pierre Pressure, and Behemoth were all made for the original movie but didn't make the cut. Since they never made an appearance anywhere, they could change them a lot more to make them better for G-rated audiences.

Hey WickedBinge, I saw Kung Fu Panda 4 and I thought it was awesome. I think I would like it if you made a Kung Fu Panda 4 characters good to evil, relationships healthy to toxic, character dumb to Brilliant and sequel theories you love and hate. I imagine you won’t do it for the first few days because you want to make sure people have seen it first so it isn’t spoiled for them and I can respect that decision. I’m just saying that I think it is just too big of a movie for you to ignore so I think it would be a good one for you to eventually do the Kung Fu Panda 4 analysis, just not right away.

In my opinion, if I had to say one good/decent thing about the film and the series, it's Keiko, I think she's very interesting, I think it's cool how she became a fan of Megamind (and if you think about it, she's like us because she became a fan of Megamind from the FIRST MOVIE LOL) I also found "the concept of the character" Machiavillain interesting... I didn't think the part about him being Megamind's "mentor" was cool, but the part about him being someone he's known for a long time (apparently no one knows/remembers him) never beat him but he managed to leave him out of action. and he's apparently going to need Metro Man's help to beat him... If for some reason they want to save the franchise (of course beyond the animation and character development) I think you can take advantage of these two characters
