It’s not really that bad. Not much louder than the SD30, they’re just loud amps in general. Not a lot of head room unfortunately though. Makes a great gain amp; but not ideal for pedal platform. I’m using the SD45 with a small compliment of pedals: Distortion (gain set low, essentially for another gain texture/solo boost) Linear boost, fuzz, EQ, as well as Delay/reverb/chorus/tremolo in the loop
