Week in Our Life: New Clinicals, Nice Dinner, Beach Day!

I love pediatrics! I was a daycare teacher for most of my schooling, and I'm now planning to be an MRI tech at a children's hospital in SC. I think the best thing you can do is make them feel involved and like they're helping, especially if you come across toddlers at some point. It's so much fun. I love making it into an experience for them since MRI is such a scary thing. My favorite scenario is that I need them to climb into the boat (the MRI table) and go find the treasure in the cave (the actual MRI machine). I always say the more they move the more likely the crabs or lobsters will know they're there and they'll try to take the treasure and hide it again, and it always works and they leave with their chocolate coins. ^_^

Amazon has some good scrubs if ur looking for better ones! My family friend is a physical therapist and buys hers from there! They fit her legs well and are comfy according to her!

I'm thinking of getting a little into "vlogging" but not necessarily camera stuff, just short clips or something like that to capture my AT program journey. Do you guys have tips for that? Also, just finished my first clinical with the UW Madison football team and beginning to study for my CSCS. Got the XC and wrestling teams to work with in fall 😎

Airmed is an Australian scrub brand that are pretty similar to the Figs brand but half the price. Not sure if they ship internationally but I wear them everyday as an acute PT and they are super comfy
