don't know if anyone mentioned this, but you can use coconut or avocado oil for popcorn as well. they also have a high smoke point and much healthier than vegetable oil. I use half coconut oil, half ghee (clarified butter) to make popcorn. wow, gonna make popcorn now just to watch the rest of this video.

Use avocado oil for your popcorn! Its healthy and has a higher smoke point than regular vegetable oil. I make popcorn on the stove all the time :)
