I apologize that this is on the critical side,... realistically, how much of getting this job was actually this proposal vs the fact that you already had a relationship with the vendor, they claimed they couldn't find anyone else to do this work, (which tends to be client speak for they went cross-eyed when they saw other price tags), and you told them you could do it faster, better, and roughly $15k cheaper after they showed you what was likely the lowest priced estimate they got?

With a website example l always feel like the client thinks it’s already done and easy since it’s shown in the proposal. Did the final website look anything like the example or did you go a completely different road with it? Just wondering. A lot of clients here in Germany think it’s really not a lot of work. I’ll definitely have to attract more ideal clients I guess (no „dream clients“ cause I can’t stand that word anymore :D)
