Good point there. Motorbikes don't really tend to have a number plate at the front anyway, so it probably seemed even more off the wall. The writing in Corrie these days is just full of crap. Honestly.

Maybe because the bike was reported stolen and the owner gave a full description like most do when there property get stolen or maybe shown them a picture so the police could look out for one matching the description. Just happens that the officer saw a motorbike possibly matching the one which was reported stolen and went to investigate.
