If Peter genuinely loved his girlfriend he would seek professional help and do whatever it takes he is obviously an alcoholic in denial but even so the love and support of a good woman should be far more of an incentive to overcome this problem and get well if he carries on the way he is he will lose both her and his life then the only winner would be the bottle

It's a disease, it doesn't work like that. It's a lot more complicated than simply loving someone, or having someone who loves you.

You're right, but an addiction is horrid and fierce. I've known people with addictions, its such a monster

@@forrestcollective9184That’s the problem sometimes for alcoholics. They know deep down but in wanting to feel drunk they pretend to themselves it’s all under control and can just have a good couple or get drunk occasionally like a non addicted person.
