So Mack just left the hospital. He just got stabbed, no big deal. Joking aside, he was so worried about Charity that he (at once) put her first. Good that Charity got open up to him even tho it was just to tell that she's afraid that she'll hurt him or others. Great job from Emma and Lawrence in this scene.

Charity really doesn't love Mackenzie anymore. This Harry thing is edging away at her and she is pushing everyone dear to her away and even her husband Mackenzie, her sons Ryan, Noah and Moses and her granddaughter Sarah. She's even pushed Cain and Moira and her family the Dingles away. The one person she would not push away and that's her father Obadiah Dingle. Maybe it's to either involve Obadiah. Her father can get through to her just like that. Obadiah is a drunken alcoholic and can see where Charity gets her out of control drinking problem from.
