After looking though this fight again after so long I noticed something interesting. This fight is basically the representation of a very interesting philosophical debate. "Would you rather be free or would you rather be happy?". The two both appear positive, but at the same time they repel each other like magnets of the same kind. Newko represent the happiness, and he is willing to achieve that truogh every mean possible, even at the cost of the death of many. He wants to be happy and he wants everyone to be happy, but he understands that there will never be happiness as long as the ones who threaten to take it away are still alive. Red represents freedom, she still awnts peace for everyone, but the difference is that this harmony includes the villains, in this case the determinated, aswell. Red wants to give everyone the freedom to act however they want, which of course, gives herself the freedom to stop them. But Red doesn't want to kill the determinated, and this will bring her to spare them, giving them the freedom to redeem themselves. Newko is the Hero who kills the villains, while Red is the hero who spares the villains.

This!!! The only critique I'd make is that Newko is more seeking equality than happiness. His entire character is purveyed with a twisted sense of justice and retribution, that only through his actions alone will the world become better for all, even if the means are aptly sinister, cruel and all around wrong (i.e. slaughtering The Determined, even those who weren't involved with the war at all) Newko, in the QnA series, does justify that he'd only kill those who are Determined if they have already committed what he believes to be sin and deserved to be condemned in his eyes; he wouldn't go as far to kill a child just because they have a red soul. Still, his belief that all Determined will eventually cause suffering is only backed up by personal experience and is extremely flawed but that's what makes him a compelling character. One who is willing to fight and sacrifice anyone and everyone in order to fulfil their agenda. Him and Skell easily take the cake for being my favourite characters of Megatale ^^

He sees them as a threat to everyone's happiness and his goal is to prevent them from hurting other innocent families, even though his methods are rather villanous, he is the Hero in his vision and his ultimate goal is to keep innocents safe, not Just avenge his dead family.

Verdade mano.... A magia dele é muito bem relocada e planejada da pra ver que ele tem mais de um membro pra lutar e esse membro é mais forte que os braços dele que seria a cauda.... e pelo que eu observei os cristais funcionan assim... ele pode invocalos da cauda e mãos, desconheço outro ponto corporal. Pode invocar do chão também e tbm invocar cristais de dentro de outros cristais.... Pode atravesalos e teleportar a traves deles, além de poder ver o inimigo de dentro deles. Uma coisa que não foi mostrada na animação mas acho que ele pode fazer é entrar em um cristal e usalo como escudo Abilidades fisicas: força física enorme, cauda móvel e muito forte(superando até os dois braços juntos) Velocidade enorme talvez supersônica E a abilidade de sugar determinação graças ao seu lado monstro (Acho que essa força toda vem dele ser um híbrido muito inteligente em batalha... já que se sabe em undertale que uma alma de monstro com uma de humano dá num bixo apelao pra porra então acho que já sei pq ele é tão forte) Talvez tenha outras habilidades desconhecidas que veremos mais a frente Obrigado por ler (me avisa se esqueci de algo ) 😉

@@wintergrox205 Monsters can still have Traits, you know. Sans, for example, has Patience and Justice, as well as a couple of other traits, even tho they don't reflect on his soul. Newko has a mix of Determination, Bravery and Justice, and it DOES show on his. That just proves that monsters can be unique and have different souls.
