i'm in the camp that I don't need it to transform there's room for both we have a million versions of every character that can transform I'd prefer a high-end line of non-transforming with great paint and excellent articulation

I'm building out a Super7 80's cartoon detolf shelf and just need Megatron to flesh out the main baddies. My 4th Mount Rushmore would be Mum-Ra but I could see Shredder fitting that slot too.

I like these. I want the cartoon version in robot form. I’m not playing with these, only displaying them. Having them transform for me is useless, since I’ll never display them not in robot form. They display really nice. I have my Optimus with my Super 7 Lion-O and He-Man figs. Megatron will go with Skeletor and Mumm-Ra. I’m just hoping they come out with some of the more common ones. I don’t need any deep cuts/lesser known ones. That makes me a bit on the fence about collecting them all.

Thing is S7 missed out on an opportunity. If Transformers Transformed ppl would have to buy two. Depending on if you're going to have a massive display. One will be as robots the others a vehicle/jet/plane/gun/stereo etc. Not surprising about Grimlock S7 already has a mold from power rangers T-Rex. That should be an easy repaint. You forgot Mumm-Ra the ever living.

I'm with you I'm ok with them not transforming. I got my kid into those 3.5 inch transformers and oh man too many steps. I don't remember the g1s being that crazy

@@KylePeterson1980 If it has to look exactly like the 80s cartoon then I can't suggest one other than maybe the masterpiece Megatron. However My favorite would be the War for Cybertron Megatron but it's not 1 to 1 accurate to the original cartoon though. I'm just one of those transformers purist who can't stand for it not to transform I guess.
