Hey really great and informative video... I will also be traveling solo from 17th nov onwards. Could you please let me know about the cab fare?.how much did he take for grand canyon? Also is their any private bus or shared cab service available with any local travel agency there ?

He charged 2500 for Laitlum which is in one side , and two points like Elephanta falls and one more just inside the city , and drop to airport . But I couldn’t cover the two inside shillong because of lack of time, my flight was at 3 pm . The car was Maruti 800 so less cost. It might have increased now depending on the car. There is no bus service I believe. I couldn’t see any. Tourist vehicles might be there but it just be package system. You can take the pamphlets at tourist Center shop in airport which has some numbers of their service and package .

yes it’s slightly cold. You can carry a light jacket for evening . Day is not that cold but nights are cold . You will need sweater.

Yes you should carry light jackets and sweatshirts . It’s foggy in May too and night is extremely cold
