Yes ..the one in the video. Moreover if you got time do visit Shnongpdeng as well.. It is in dawki , but different place then the one in the video..Did not have time to visit Shnongpdeng that day.

Yes...December would be a nice time to visit Dawki. This footage was taken in december. Going there ? The journey would also be scenic.. So, Own vehicle would be the best or a hired vehicle. There will be lots of vehicles to hire out there in Shilong. If its your first time in Shilong - Stay for 4-5 days and visit many other places out there. Its a very good tourist place. Meghalaya is a natural beauty indeed, Google about places in Meghalaya & what you see is what you will get. ( I said this because you find beautiful pics in the internet about a place but in reality it ain't that much & MEGHALAYA IS NOT THAT TYPE ) People are hospitable and most of them can speak English & Hindi-

Hey I think am a bit late giving you a reply. But.. I think planning for Mawlynnong and Dawki would be too much for a day. Regarding the stay and all, I myself am not from shillong , but staying in shillong and planing a day trip for each place might be good. (Its a small world but do take into account the weather as well especially for a trip to Cherapunji). Enjoy!!!

I am not a resident of meghalaya.. But to try to help u out.. during rainy season Umngot river may not be as clean as it is during winter, but rainy season in meghalaya will treat u well too with lots n lots of greenery.

hey, i am planning to visit Meghalaya this december with a group of friends. can u tell me what kind of weather is there around christmas? is it crazy cold (need heavy wollen) or one good jacket would do? i thought diving into water would be far too much if it were cold. but u did it. btw, really good video.

Hi Payal.. December is cold but it wont be below freezing point and all. It will be sunny by day ..so u don't have to worry too much abt the clothes - but warm clothes are a requirement. If its getting too cold (probably evening - night-early morning) u can get any clothes that will keep u warm in the local market. But if u have some fashion clothes u wanted for the camera and all, u can always carry along Most winter days in northeast used to be sunny, so a dip in the river wont freeze u up.. .. need not worry and do have a wonderful time..
