Meghan is American not even a black American regardless of her DNA. This situation remains unbelievable. At the panel she participated in she basicallly told Nigerians that their accepting her as Nigerian as being representative of them was actually a complement to them because Nigerian women are brave, courageous, resilient, powerful and beautiful. Archewell has been shut down because no accounts have been submitted to the US equivalent of the UK Charity Commission. No one knows where the money has gone. I hope the US Internal Revenue Service are investigating. I think he lacks the mental fitness required for the current level at which he is trying to function. Lady C I have a question that has been in the back of my mind for some time. Am I overreacting when I start to wonder if Harry intends to wreak his revenge on his family by attempting to destroy the Monarchy's relationship to the Commonwealth? If, as we are hearing, H&M intend to visit other African countries, some of which will be Commonwealth countries, in your opinion will the pair be hoping to draw these countries away from their long association with the British Crown? In other words, are they intending to attempt to create an alternative Commonwealth of Nations with Harry & Meghan as joint Heads? Am I right in thinking contrary to popular belief the King's role as Head of the Commonwealth is not hereditary in nature. Despite the fact the Queen passed the position to Charles, William will not necessarily follow in his father's footsteps? If Harry & Meghan can garner enough Commonwealth countries to support them in that role leadership of the Commonwealth could pass out of the Monarchy's sphere of influence completely. If this is even a remote possibility I find it indescribably treacherous and possibly the worst thing Harry has done to date. We know our late Queen and Prince Philip devoted their entire lives to addressing the issue of continuing the work of dismantling the British Empire by unifying countries that comprised the former Empire into an institution that recognised their common goals. An association that would bring nations together, in brotherhood in order to encourage harmony and trade relations not only with each other but with what was then considered to be the Motherland - meaning Britain. It seems unthinkable that Harry would sink so low that he would even contemplate destroying his Grandmother's most precious legacy. An achievement of which I believe she was rightly proud and held close to her heart . Nevertheless, as we have seen since he met Meghan, the man has changed beyond belief. so perhaps even this diabolical move against the Crown, borne out bitterness and a desire for revenge, is not beyond our traitorous Prince.

In America, before slavery became entrenched (i.e. after 1793 -- Discovery of the Cotton gin) Blacks, Native Americans and Whites owned slaves and also had indentured servants from the British Isles. Both the importation of slaves and indentured servitude became illegal shortly after American Independence, as did the old Dutch Patroon system (essentially serfs) in the Hudson River Valley

Lady C we in NZ are looking forward to Harry and Meghans tour of our country,we are delighted to hear Meghan is 2% Maori,of course we must wait our turn. As usual our Australian neighbours have to upsurp us because she is 4% Aboriginal and will visit them first.
