Though I agree that in this interview they couldn't get passed her being an attractive girl, I don't think Rachel as a character progressed AT ALL passed the first 3 seasons. Like, the real injustice is how little her character changed. She's an amazing, strong, intellectual woman in the show but they didn't do anything with it apart from being Mike's wife. She had some moments here and there with her dad, but that's legit it.

Party Zone not true at all. Yes Gabriel and Patrick are the two co-leads but the others make up the main cast. It's a very small cast for a TV series, they mostly all have equal parts. Meghan's role was never minor.

unfortunately it doesn't work like this in tv-show world, for example - I've been watching Hawaii 5-0 since season 1, it's on it's 8th season, after season 7 two of the cast left because they felt they were part of main cast but the show runners treated them as supporting ones, to me they were main character from ep. 1 because they were part of the main team, and it always was a small cast, but not for the show runners,

Great interview! Not sure why the complaints about Patrick talking too much--Meghan talked a lot, and their conversation flows naturally. Nothing sounds stilted or forced. I'm a Suits fan first--couldn't care less about Meghan/Harry except knowing that Meghan is happy. Love Patrick, and didn't know he'd done a pilot with Meghan years ago. Prophetic that Patrick says Mike will eventually need to become a legit lawyer, and that Meghan thinks, as early as season 3, that Rachel and Mike are probably building toward eventual marriage.
