My dad was a member of the South African Navy and I can ask him right now about the two events and he would dispute her claims. When I was 13 years old Nelson Mandela was sentenced to life in prison and in the next 27 years his photograph was not allowed to be published and any articles were censored. The newspapers would remove the article but would leave a blank space. From 1976 until Mr Mandela was released we lived with police brutality, huge unrest and great uncertainty. I am a white woman but remember watching his release on television, only having seen a photograph in his younger years. It was completely overwhelming and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. There was a little trepidation too as we had no idea of his level of possible militancy, it was a momentous occasion and a turning point for all South Africans which nobody could compare to the wedding. Dr John Kanu is a highly respected actor and politically astute.

I am a South African, and really respect Dr Kani I watched the wedding on BBC as it was not broadcast on the local news. There was no celebration on any street in South Africa. Most people didn't even know they were getting married that day..I can't recalled that it was even mentioned on the local news.

I am a South African, Prince William's and Kates wedding was huge , but you can never compare a wedding to Mandela's liberation after 27 years of incaceration😭😭. The wedding was televised, why would people be running in the streets, instead of being in their homes watching🥱 27th April 1994 was another big day in the History of SA when black people voted for the first time in democratic elections and then the most exciting event was the 2010 world cup, NOT Meghan getting married,.🤔. Shame on her. John Kani is a respected South African actor, author, director and playwright and now in his 80's knows exactly what happened on that day when Mandela was freed and would never dare "appeace the Dutchess" by insuaniting what she is trying to say. Am glad he has refuted her awful claims. This is very disrespectful to Mandela's legacy and to South Africans in general. Just because she met the late Arch-Bishop Tutu when she was here doesn't give her any right to put herself in the level of Mandela, 🤨🤨 This woman is a pathological liar, a crying baby seeking attention and now i believe everything she told Oprah was a lie😵😵

When Meghan Markle told the story of a royal family member wondering about their babies' skin color and Oprah looked like she was going to have a heart attack, Meghan became to panic. She started to breath heavily and then shifted in her seat over and over again, with the heavy breathing she looks like she was having an anxiety attack. Was she afraid that she had oversold the story? I would say that Harry isn't smart enough to realize that if he refuses to identify the family member, then all family members are then suspect of being a racist. He has effectively accused every member of his family. It's was extraordinary that Oprah gave a statement the next day stating that neither Queen Elizabeth or King Consort Phillip were the accused royal racist. Only the very young believe this garbage.

Our very own Spice Girls met with Nelson Mandela and he loved it they were just themselves they didn't insult anyone they didn't act better than anyone else. We all at one time or another have sort of stretched the truth or ignored someone you know has told you a fib. I don't want to embarrass them so I let it go but if someone deliberately lies straight to my face then that is a whole different thing. I loathe liars we all mess up we all do something that is so stupid you want to kick your own butt. Lies are destructive and liars come in all kinds the worst ones are PATHOLOGICAL LIARS. Pathological lying, also known as mythomania and pseudologia fantastica, is the chronic behaviour of compulsive or habitual lying. Unlike telling the occasional white lie to avoid hurting someone's feelings or getting in trouble, a pathological liar seems to lie for no apparent reason there seems to be a break in the circuit from the brain to the mouth. They answer a question and some where in that brain it takes a completely different form and out comes the lie and the worst part is they truly believe the lie they themselves have spoken. The link between compulsive lying is associated with narcissistic and antisocial personality disorders and most of them are connected to the lack of empathy. They do not feel shame they feel anger because you don't respond in the way they think you should. I know this because I did a 3 year university study on it for my degree. Think about what is happening right now all over the world WOKE has entered the conversation and I would guarantee that nearly 50 if not more percentage of these activists are either Pathological liars or failed in society so now that they have an audience to listen to their drivel and even better yet YOU ARE BELIEVING THEM and with that lying to themselves increases. A fib is a lie, but in most cases it is so small on the scale of untruths its weight and consequences are equally small. Fibs are usually children's domain I.E it wasn't me or I don't know when you know they are fibbing so it is easy to stop If my children fibbed if I thought it was a little bit more serious to ignore it would incur a time out five minutes max because five minutes to a very small child is forever to them MEAGAIN NEEDS TO BE STOPPED. When you have the grandson of a man who is well respected and loved by many people who stood for his course that put him in prison call you out and a country who you have insulted in so many ways then you have not only crossed the line there is no way back. Somewhere in that woman's mind there is a switch and it engages every time she opens that trap of hers MM is rather dangerous and we all laugh especially people abroad but I am English and this is demoralising my country we are in a no win situation. The firm and the rest of the royals and us are trying to give our Queen her dignity and space she has ruled for 70 years. This year was meant to be a whole year of celebrations and events for my country and they all got stopped other than the four days that has hurt a lot of people who had planned while the pandemic was on and we did it because to us that was the signal that life as we knew it was coming back. We do not ask anyone to understand why we like and love them. I don't understand American politics but I don't go on a social platform and rip them apart I don't know them. I would apologise for the length of my comment but I feel it needs to be said because it is women like her that can cause wars and you may laugh and you may scoff in the very short time she has been a royal she has managed to Insult Australia New Zealand, Canada, Denmark and South Africa and South Africa want her banned for ever stepping foot in that country.
