If I'm not mistaken, that was a class project. I used to work in customer service for one of the largest consumer product companies in the world. We got thousands of letters complaining or complementing our products. Believe me, we would not have taken advice from an 11 year old. She might have gotten a generic form letter back generated by a computer or punched tape saying thank you for contacting us, and none of the decision makers would ever have seen her letter. I sent out literally thousands of that type letter myself.

You are 100% correct. ALL correspondence to the White House is recorded and archived. Anyone writing to the white house is added to the Christmas card list. My Father wrote to the late Queen Elizabeth when Charles and Andrew were having “issues” with their families. He wrote something to the effect that she was a good parent and that similar issues are going on with all families around the world. He received a VERY nice letter from someone saying that the Queen appreciated his kind words of support. My sister and I found it with his belongings when we were organizing stuff after his death. We received tickets to attend the White House Easter egg “roll” with our son in 2000. My son was given a commemorative painted wooden egg and an official poster of the event. He still has those keepsakes. People keep things like that and cherish them all of their lives. If the letter existed, she would have it framed. Meghan embellishes many tales. The only reason she isn’t called out is because she may be useful at some time. The lion king dancer story, the climbing through the trunk story, the Ellen dog story ( proven a lie by actual emails exchanged between her and the pound to try to convince them to give her a dog. It outlines her entire dog adoption journey.
