Chief has only known war, decades of it, being raised basically as a sociopath until Halo 4 were he truly recognised himself as human and started thinking emotionally. I feel like now with decades of war, loss and held back emotion that scene with Griffin really shows it all catching up with him.

I think that Chief has never really thought about himself or his emotions up until the end of Halo 4. During that last conversation with Lasky, something clicked inside him and he began to see himself. He's definitely slightly more introspective compared to before, but he still has a long way to go.

throughout all these playthroughs.. I have come to notice Meg has absolutely adores how cute Grunts are but will also plain face, stone cold massacre them with absolutely no remorse or regret in sight 🤣

They did such a great job with the NPC chatter in this game, I especially like that they'll actually engage with one another as well. Like a Marine will say something and another will respond, or they'll shout something at a Banished unit and the Banished will answer back, it's great listening to it (And also the Banished soldier you hear over the Propoganda towers is brilliant, I'm not sure if you've heard any of their dialogue yet)

Whoever thinks chief can’t emote through his armor or without his helmet is an idiot. Chiefs body language has always made up for his lack of dialogue. Fantastic character acting.

FOB allows u to spawn vehicles and weapons u have unlocked. also for every open world boss - {non campaign boss} u kill u unlock a new unique version of a weapon.

48:35 He felt safe enough to die now that he relayed the vital information... or... that securing field was keeping him alive just to interrogate him some more. Once it was turned off his body systems were free to fail.

i loved seeing the reaction to the original theme, so wholesome and i do believe its what every fan was like when they first heard it, second mentioning forge in the halo 3 days, should check out infinites force (or at the maps and stuff made in it, some maps are even in the multiplayer) truly awesome and come a long way from simply adding stuff to a dev map all the way to making our own maps and even experiences, people have made campaign mission (even mission from past games)

The scene with Griffin would have been so much better if they didn't have NPC characters trying to urgently interrupt it the whole time.

Yeah, I genuinely feel bad for anyone who dismissed this game purely because it wasn't what 'Bungie would have done' or because it wasn't basically a retelling of what we already know, a pace for pace OG Halo. This game was very good, the story struggled at some points, could have been done better, but what really hit hard was always the parts where Chief was expressing himself in the most authentic way.

Good graphics in a game are nice but gameplay and optimization make a game truly great Most of this game is exploring and there's a bunch of ways to go about the game so never feel like you need to specifically rush the main story

I put 130 hrs into Valhalla, it was such and underwhelming experience and bad story, in my opinion of course I know some people enjoyed it
