It’s a total of three books and there’s a sequel series that takes place during the main story (we need Season 4-5, first, though.) Book 3 is much shorter, though, so it’ll be around a few episodes. The movie, for example, is around half a season and didn’t even cover everything (like Kazuma’s backstory, Tranquility Girl, the extra day/night, and Megumin’s Valentine’s Day promise.)

Dubbed will almost always be like 3-4 episodes behind. Some dont get dubbed till its fully out. Some may not even get a dubbed. Really wish they dub Oresuki i really liked that anime

Ironically, you are more right than you think. Vanir, the masked devil from season 2, has his own spinoff that features alot of Wiz, similar to how the Megumin spinoff had alot of Yunyun. However, this spinoff is REALLY late into the light novel, and is a while away from ever making sense if it gets animated.
