Hachiman had something like this. And there are some Boys love anime (also known as BL). Not yaoi (yaoi is porn and can be violent), but BL where they actually end up together. The best BL is Sasaki to Miyano. It's about a girly Otaku boy being courted by a popular upperclassman. The anime is kind of like a chocolate. It slowly melts into your mouth. I recommend it if you like some romance. It even has many funny bits. Another BL is Love stage. A girly Otaku boy who has a famous family is traumatized because he had to film a commercial when young disguised as a girl. It was a wedding commercial where some adults get married and MC had to catch the flowers and smile at his costar. His costar of similar age thought he was a girl and has had a crush on him for years. So after the costar becomes famous he requests to redo the commercial but now with both of them as the wedding couple. He tries to propose to mc but it gets ruined when he finds out the MC is a boy. But he had a crush for so long that he can't forget him. This is just the 1st episode by the way.

Honestly, I haven't seen it, but my hc is that Megumu is a trans guy and that they went all the way for a gay romance. That could've been so good! :3 And like, the reason he's dressed the way he does is partially because that's just how he is, but on the other hand, his sisters could also be transphobic with him and force him to wear explicitly feminine clothing when he wants a more androgynous appearance.
