He was married when it started too. Then his wife had the car accident. Jill was also the babysitter for the boys after the “accident”. We knew this years and years ago. I went to the ER recently and met a tremendous doctor on top of being a doctor he spoke excellent English and Spanish. He also was very comforting and knowledgeable. The best part is that he asked me to call him by his first name "Cole".

As a Nurse, mental healthcare professionals are trained to identify signs and symptoms of someone showing decline in their awareness, or not, of issues in their life. It becomes Elder Abuse when a person who was once able to function well in their job duties but then shows a DECLINE in accomplishing their job tasks due to becoming forgetful, confused, etc, and try to do the job when they are clearly not able to perform the functions of the job. Usually after seeing a Doctor and is diagnosed with signs and symptoms of being more confused, forgetful, slurred speech, etc, they will recommend that the person is not able to perform duties of a job that requires one to have mental clarity, no slurred speech, no difficulty walking, etc. The person's Rights to have medical care, to live pain free, and not work in a high level position that requires mental clarity, and one that does not require a lot of walking will be identified by Healthcare Team and a Treatment Plan is implemented.
