He has shot himself in the foot a few times trying to answer every issue with some sort of government control albiet with good intentions. He also missed a great opportunity after the Bruen decision to remove the ridiculously unconstitutional red flag laws and open carry limitations while passing constitutional carry for concealed carry. His riot bill is a hot mess, he needs to balance police support with accountability. That said, he seems to respect the separation of powers at the federal level and the reason behind it.
