I haven't seen the god of music but if there is something like that it would certainly be like Mehndi Hussain Sahib. I am mesmerized by his performance. Divinity of his voice quality is certainly unique and rarest of rare.

In this ghazal, 'Ye mojeja bhi mohabbat', the legendary Khan Saab was lending his divine voice to an another legendary poet Qateel Shifai Saab and the end product was another trailblazer. How lethal this combination had been? Together they brought ghazal gayiki to an another level which was unheard of at that point of time or at any time there after. Could anyone replace Khan Saab as the finest exponent of ghazal gayiki ever in the foreseeable future? But I don't visualize any possibility to that effect.

Qateel Shifai's ghazal is exremly loveful one and unlimited ambition claiming from thebeloved. it is said when Khais was beaten by stones near Laila's castle on arabian streets Laila was repeatedly hurt and was crying due to the pain she felt. Laila begged the stone pelters saying "Husn hazir hai mohabbat ki saza pane ko Koi pathar se na maro mere divane ko" here concept is '"Sang tujh pe giray aur zaqm aye mujhe" sang khais pe giray aur zaqm aye laila ko Qateel was also phylosophic poet. maulvi sahab canes Qais on his hand. But it is Laila's hand which was bleeding. High ranking Raag , classical music and Mahdi Hassan's silky voice decorated the dream ful Ghazal. Could be replicated but a similar Ghazl creation is impossible. Yeh Moujza Bhi Muhabbat is my favorate Ghazal.. M A Sattar

Very lethal rendering by Khan Sahab what we call as bilkul "tabiyat ka gana" and what a sathsangat of tabla very measured vajan bhi and banana bhi. Mano jaise saya peche peche ja rahi ho. I think Khan Saheb must be at his best mood. If any body has attended this one please comment. This is a mono recording and very weak. If some audio engineering can skilfully improve the audio it will be very heavenly

Lajwaab qalam or us per behtareen gayaki ghazal mein pura raag madhukauns khda kr diya rare raag hai . khan saheb classical musique ke bhaut bade jankar the, unki gayaki se pta chlta hai .
