Delighted to listen to this ghazal in the soulful voice of the Maestro in a somewhat different orientation for the very first time ! The great Mehdi Hassan Saab was the synonym of soft, soothing and soulful music ! He had a rare GOD-GIFTED ability to lend credence to any labz of the shayar with the exact feel, as depicted in the kalam, owing to his magical voice and inimitable style of gayiki ! Such was the wizardry of this great wizard of music ! We owe a lot to the great Mehdi Hassan Saab for having enthralled us for almost six decades with soulful music which was very rich in content --- Labz, Sur, Taal, and Loy and aesthetic value ! There will never be another Mehdi Hassan ! Let us bow our head in reverence to this great legendary singer and gem of a person for his impeccable track record and monumental contributions to the World Of Music ! May the departed soul rest in eternal peace !
