This anthem is called "Zendegi" (life) from "Zan , Zendegi , Azadi (Women Life Freedom) " and it's the second anthem he's sang. First one was called "Zan" (woman) ( you had a reaction video for that too ) . It's kinda episode 2 and the next anthem will be called Azadi or freedom! Woman life freedom

Hey dude, as always thank you for standing with the people of Iran. This particular song is a kind of follow up to his previous song soroode Zan which you covered a little while ago. This one is a bit more complicated to translate into English than his previous song and admittedly the translation isn't great, but about as good as it can be. There are a lot of lyrics he sings in this song which just sound odd when translated directly into English, but for Iranian people they have a very profound meaning as they describe a state of mind as well as an emotional state of being and some of the lyrics would require the listener to have an understanding of Iranian culture or history. An example of this could be the line towards the start when he says 'to the mother's curse that will haunt you'. This particular line would hit Iranians right in the feelings as we all know mothers who've lost beautiful young children with bright futures, and we've been in their company while they scream in agony and curse the people who murdered their children 😥 Once again, thank you so much for continuing to support our people and I wish you all the best.

Thank you for your time and using your platform to be our voice and send Mehdi Yarrahi’s message broader. This song is much nicer and more meaning full in original language but I think they did a good job translating it to English even it’s complicated to find a right word in English to pass the meaning. You did a good job too. As other people mentioned, this song been released after Soroode Zan. We are thinking freedom song or Soroode Azadi will be release when Iran be free and hopefully soon. We pray for him to be safe till he sings Soroode Azadi for us in Azadi squire. We wish him all the beast and good luck with his GRAMMYs Awards nomination. Women Life Freedom.

One very touching line was when sisters ask their basigi and sepahi brothers who defend the regime to come to their side! “ this bullet s you shot on us, is not just a bullet, is taking your sister’s life! “ So power full!

5:38 It should be "free yourself from the shackles of wish(ful thinking)/dreaming" It's basically saying stop dreaming/wishing that thing could get better (by itself), and look at the coming day (we're already here), the night has lost it's power and what's left is only lingering sadness. kick the (already) overthrown throne!

hi man , Persian language is so rich that sometimes for translating a sentence in Farsi you should write a whole page to understand the real meaning behind words and every word in Farsi is attached to a whole feelings in our mind and our body for example the words are in a very special harmony that make us cry so wen you translate them into English just 20% of the original meaning will be remain . but even that amount is enough for you to understand the main purpose of this song . even different pronunciation of a single word in Persian can producing a total different meaning , when we hear this song it makes us crazy and full of rage

I want to answer your question that you asked why the name of this song was not called the anthem of freedom, this is because the slogan of this revolution is women, life, freedom, and Mehdi Yarahi had sung the woman anthem that you listened to before, this one is the life anthem and the third song, can be freedom anthem, thank you for supporting us

"Free yourself from the bondage of desire" is a little dark here. This is not always fear that holds us back from protesting. Sometimes it's a desire. Basically, it says you have to be able to sacrifice a lot to make this revolution happen.
