Mao killed 60+ M, Stalin 63+ M by way of the holdomor in eastern russia confiscating food & machinery and 11+ M penned in and starved of food & water in gemany after the war had officially ended. Meher Baba stated out as a holy man, but he later proclaimed himself a God. Those are two very different things. This is why his religion is totally incompatible with Christianity, despite his words. He was very likely a spiritual person who at some point let his abilities run away with him. Ironically he spoke against the ego, but it was the ego that ultimately led him to his wild proclamations.

This is a conscientious comment, but it does not display a very thorough reading of Meher Baba. Meher Baba did proclaim he was God, and also proclaimed that everyone and everything was also God. He stated the only difference between you and him, was that he consciously knew himself to be God and you, and I , have not had that experience yet. But the experience of the Christ consciousness is latent in all and everyone will become that one day. That is the goal of all in creation. If you are interested, there is a video on my channel entitled The Original Avatar, which hopefully explains it fairly well. There is also a good video entitled Meher Baba's Call which has a message from Meher Baba that explains this well, and his book entitled God Speaks explains it the best.

@@oklahuma Yes, you know more about his teaching. But, what you have written is still completely incomparable with Christianity. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life". This does not include other teachers, preachers, prophets or gurus. So, if people want to follow Meher Baba, that is their choice, but it is a rejection of Jesus Christ.

If you were to understand what the Avatar truly is then you would realize Jesus and Meher Baba are one in the same. But of course that’s not in the Christian doctrine and dogma but regardless a follower of Jesus is a follower of the Avatar.

⁠, I don’t think any of has the capacity to fathom the ways of God, yet personally I believe the event that occurred was precipitated by Baba. He tossed the cat into the rain..spiritually..it precipitated the event..it manifested the event spoken of. If that makes sense?? It doesn’t completely..but just showing God does all things in His own way. This is my thought.
