Sheikh Syed Ahmed Mohiuddin Jeelani, also known as Noorisha Saani (Arabic: حضرة سيد أحمد محي الدين الجيلاني المعروف نوري شاه ثاني) is a renowned spiritual teacher and the successor of Sheikh Syed Mohammed Arifuddin Jeelani Al M’aroof Noorullah Shah Noori, spiritual leader of Chisti Qadiri sufi order popularly known as Silsila Nooria. This sufi order is headquartered at Bandlaguda, Hyderabad. Under the able guidance of Sheikh Noorisha Saani, lakhs of his disciples across the Indian subcontinent and abroad are leading their Islamic spiritual life. Under his mighty supervision, many institutions are at the service of the public in Hyderabad and also across the country. Al Arif General Hospital and Unani Research Institute, Jamia Arifia Nooria, Kankahe Arifia Nooria etc. are among the few to name.
The young and vibrant spiritual guru of this sufi order takes his title ‘Noorisha Saani’ and his name from his majestic grandfather late Sheikh Syed Ahamed Muhyudheen Noorishah Jeelani, popularly known as Noorul Mashayikh, who found the Chisti Qadiri spiritual order, Silsila Nooriya.
