Perfectly summed up sharum bhai. Here in pushtoon community, especially villages , 'hujra' exists which is like a guest house for males. Every family has a hujra(family means pura khandaan lol). Any guest who comes to hujra, is a guest of the whole extended family. They bring food and other items for the guest together. Hence, the mehmaan nawazi becomes grand when so many people contribute. You welcome the guests with fruits, followed by dawat having many dishes, then green tea with sweets or dry fruits(in winter). Hujra is for men only. Women are hosted at home, in the same hospitable manner. Love from Peshawar. :)
