My freshman tryout is next week, it's my first time playing soccer for school, I've been practicing everyday but I feel tired and have no energy sometimes, and I am not confident yet. I don't have a lot of game experience, but I feel like I'm one of the only ones putting work in and that I have good soccer ability all around, pray for me and wish me luck

Dude I'm feeling the same exact way, I've checked my team's roster for the past year and I'm wondering what position to play, center attacking mid. Although I would like to play on the wing because I've been practicing my curve shots cutting in but I don't have the pace and also on the other hand my passing is better than my shooting by a mile.

Hey I’m a Midfielder aswell and I play CM, CAM, and CDM so I might be able to give you some advice. When you’re a CDM your job is to be the pivot of the midfield, that means you are the person who is supposed to make the transition from defense to offense. Most CDMs would be the person cutting the passing options for the attackers and midfielders on the other team. You are also a very important part of the team during counter attacks, either if the attacker is on your team, or your team is the one attacking, you should be running up to get the ball to the attackers in a counter attack and try to block the attackers when your being counter attacked. That’s all I have for you since my main position is CAM. Hope this helps!
