The daughter is also an awful actress. She’s trying VERY hard to play the sympathy card but she’s ‘VERY off’ with the fake sad eyes and grimaces She was loving it when she was retelling the story of when the police started to listen to her. I'm a daughter, and a mother. I was there for my grandmother, and I cared for my mother until she left. I would never ( and never did ) leave their care to ANYONE else. I also took on work as a caregiver for other terminally ill clients (patients) afterwards. It's backbreaking, hard work for minimum wage. In so many instances, the client's children were never around...

After reading all the comments about her daughter,it definitely raises questions,1/. Her mother was not going to get better and she was alone after her husband died 2/ why didn’t the daughter convince her mother to sell her home which was unsuitable for someone in a wheelchair and move her into a care home closer to her3/ the daughter must of known that while her mother home was being renovated that she had moved into her neighbours home this alone was weird….poor Peggy she didn’t stand a chance

This daughter Janice is so funny. She herself can't accomodate her mother and became a caregiver - then, after she left her mother away with total strangers, she cried with the fact one of them k1lled her. Wasn't it you waiting for? Who would left their weak elderly parents all alone with strangers? Its just the same as you left your defenseless baby or pet on the hand of total strangers. This daughter even didn't bother to move on her mother's neighborhood or took her mother to move closer to her after her stepfather died. If that Janna didn't steal the ring probably this case would never existed. Poor Peggy, even you have some children yet you only seen a total stranger's face at your last moment.

I was my mum's caregiver for seven years and it is not easy at all. I don't mean to judge the daughter but she seems to be just in the early stages of Parkinson's, and wait... did she say she had migraines? I had migraines all the time, that didn't stop me from caring for my mother!! Old people are very vulnerable, especially if they're sick but you don't just leave them for other people to take care of them. It is your responsibility first!

Why she came back now? I think, that no one cared for this Lsdy and the saddest truth is, that we all will be old one day... How sad is when your own kids are ok with, that some strangers "take care" of your Parent. I could never let anyone show my own Mother or none of my Fam, like that publically, like shameless

This is the reason why some people doesn't want to have children. You care, sacrifice for them, even devote the best years of your life not to mention spend a lot on them instead of buying things for yourself...all for what? Just because you choose to have children and invest in them like every parent should, that doesn’t mean they are obligated to give up their life and career to look after you in your old age. If that’s what you’d be counting on, then yes, by all means avoid going to the trouble of having children.

It would be nice if family could always take care of each other, but sometimes it isn't possible. I know I could not take care of my mother for her end of life care. Mentally she stresses me to my breaking point, and I'm physically disabled. I don't know the full story of Janice. But she was not just having headaches, she gets migraines. I have only had a few migraines in my life... Thank goodness. But I was not able to do ANYTHING when I had them. It was horrific, I couldn't even sleep. And she has Parkinsons, I have never dealt with that but I know it is degenerative. Her mother needed help getting in and out of bed and she simply could not lift her. There would be no point her mother going to stay with her for the sake of being with family if get family cannot cope with her needs. I know people think family is best... But it is not always. This was a sad case, but it is an outlier. This is why a lot of people end up in nursing facilities. It is a full time JOB to take care of someone else's needs. And unless you can guarantee that you can take care of all their needs and get them outside and not let them be reclusive, get them in and out of the shower dadada.... Then you are likely not suited to the task. I am sorry for her death, it was unfair and unkind, may her memory be a blessing.

Ok its not just me, the daughter is full of excuses. I get it she didn't want to do it but she should just be honest.

true, the daughter seems to know it all yet she has not done anything to help her mother, very strange.

I don't understand how you couldn't take your mother before she could even be wheelchair bound and stay with her. These neighbours went out of their way to care for your mother and at least when they were going through their hardships it was of their own advantage to inherit her properties and money.

Why couldn't she get her mom to sell her house, take her in and use the money from the sale of the house to hire someone to look after her? When my grandmother started ageing, we took her in ans hired a full time nurse who helped my mom take care of her...and mom was working full time and as she was widowed was essentially a single mother of five children.

Sorry the family are at fault here, if you physically or don’t want to step up, you pay care givers to come in 3 or 4 times a day, if the mother didn’t have savings the bill is paid when the mother dies and the house is sold, or you go in to a home, the bill is paid when she dies and the house is sold, we’ve had to get carers to come in to support our mother in law, we have been doing everything for the past 4 years as her health declined, we still do a lot the help of the carers make a difference

Everyone here is assuming that mother and daughter got on well together. That is not always the case. I disliked even being in the same room as my mother, and she never liked me either.

RIP Peggy my heart breaks for your daughter; I can totally relate to her conclusions about not wanting to know why, I feel the same about my brothers murderer. I started watching true crime because I wanted to understand the mind of a killer. I realised I never will nor want too.

@@kezzabell8123 she was ill herself, she thought she was being cared for. You don't know the whole story or why, maybe her mum wanted it that way. I have terminal cancer and I live alone by choice I dont ever want to be a burden on my children. Even though I know they would have me live with them.

The daughter after not seeing he4 mother for ages had a remarkable ability to hop in a car when the marquis diamond engagement ring was missing, then buzz around to the police to motivate them.. Must be just short of a miracle cure

@@helenmcdonnell2585 driving down fir a day and taking on caring are not even in the same ball park. So many "perfect" people out their. The daughter has nothing to feel guilty of she did not know her mum was in the hands of a pshycoparh. She thought she was being cared for. Be careful of the stones you throw they may bounce back and hit you one day.

I appreciate that the daughter has Parkinsons. But surely she could have moved her mother closer. When she suspected her mental health was getting worse. Why not go down. It may not be your house but you can still go and visit. That is a terrible excuse. Who leaves their mother with strangers. Well done on raising concerns about your mother's death. But to little to late to help her.

The daughter might be full of excuses...but we dont want our kids to take care of us if we get unwell older...we have done it ourselves and its so hard emotionally and physically....its not what we want for our kids...thats our choice not the rest of the worlds to decide for us....noone knows if discussions like we have had with our kids happened...maybe another reason could be they clash under the same roof and the daughter didnt want that public knowledge.... even if the daughter did wrong by her...i doubt the mother would be resting easy thinking her daughter was getting torn apart for it...

My mum died 24 yrs ago at the age of 50. My dad is 71 now and has always said he DOESNT want us (his kids) burdened with him, if and when he becomes too much to cope with.
