The first time I heard this, I was just like vibing with the song and enjoying it, but when I listened to it for the second time and listened more to its lyrics. It is so amazing and I really love it. I’m not sure to my interpretation of the song but I just want to share it. When the lyrics says,”Tanungin ang kurtinang nagbihis sa kaniya”. This refers to pagkukubli o lihim. Then,”Ang aparador na nagtataglay ng mga sikreto niya,” (and this already confirms what does the curtain simbolizes, nagtatago tayo ng ilang personal na bagay o isang bagay tungkol sa ating sarili dahil hindi natin nais malaman ito ng ibang tao o hindi tayo komporatable na tanggapin ang mga ito sa ating sarili. “Pati na rin ang kamang nagpatulog sa kaniya” (I’m not really sure for this but, we all know na parang comfort zone na natin yung kama natin. Maybe this one is pertaining to a person who once became his/her comfort zone like pahingahan niya. But when you already think deeper or darker,hahah, on the phrase,”nagpatulog sa kaniya”,I think you already know what I mean. And also when we are sleeping, there is no guarantee if we’re going to have a good dream or a nightmare. When we go to our bed, we either rest temporarily or permanently. “Kita mo ba iyang upuang bumalanse sa pagkatao niya?” On that part naman, she pertains “upuan” bilang estado at dignidad na siya na lang bumabalanse sa pagkatao. But if you use the word “upuan” in a literal way, maaari itong magamit sa pagpapakamatay o pagbibigti,right(😅?) It is like when a person’s dignity and state in life suddenly drops, then the same thing goes on the person’s life or personality also. Since, the person sees dignity and state in life is what defines her/him or life.Parang existential crisis kung baga. And that continues the storyline on the succeeding lyrics. “Baka siya’y tumalon O baka lumipad Kumapit sa baging doon sa taas” Then let’s go back to the first part of the lyrics: “Mayro’n akong nakitang Bakas ng kanang paa Sa sahig ngaking kuwarto na gawa sa semento nasaan ang iyong kasama? bakit ka nag-iisa? gusto mo bang tulungan kitang hanapin siya?” I’m not sure if that’s really the lyrics, I can’t understand some of the words though. And also,I’m not sure what does ,”May ilaw na lumulikha ng anino sa baba” means. But on this part, I just suddenly just imagined a hanging body, and on the background is the full moon’s view which serves as the light that makes the shadow of a feet.(anino sa baba and the bakas ng kanang paa na lyrics niya) Or we can put it in a way where there is light but something blocked it. It’s like an irony that there is already the hope for that person pero may humarang pa, and let’s go back to the word where she said.”bakas ng kanang paa.” I got confused for that because, ”bakit kanang paa lang? why not both?” Then I realize, we usually lift first our right foot when we’re walking(correct me if I’m wrong), so the song does not actually like tells about death or end but it’s like a start of the person’s new journey. Marami pa tayong tatahakin na landas. At the first part of the lyrics, someone is offering help. share your thoughts also guys;)The song is so good.❤

That's a great interpretation! First time I heard this song was yesterday, during the grand finals itself. I must say, the narration was pretty sordid, surreal and nightmarish- somewhat allegorical. If you would compare this to fashion, it's avant garde. Compared to a movie, this is art house cinema. It is just like looking at a painting with a lot of interpretations because of the colors and brush strokes placed and done on the canvass, if looked at intently. Kudos to Miss Teves!

I think it’s about death. Hanging herself with the reflection of shadow.sabi nga nya s song tumalon, lumipad at Kumapit s baging, yn dn ang ibig sabihin ng bicol phrases n pinasok nya s kanta. Kung bibigyan ko naman ng kahulugan ang isang paa na nawawala ay ang kaniyang sarili naguguluhan siya at di na niya na alam yung gagawin niya maaring tumalon, o baka lumipad (piliin ang lumabas sa comfort zone and magtungo sa succes) o kumapit sa baging sa taas na ang kahulugan ay pagpapakatiwakal, ngunit kung mahanap naman niya ang kaniyang kaliwang pa o kaniyang sarili ay maaring mag bago ang lahat at makatakas siya sa lason ng lipunan na dinidiktahan siya kung saan may pressure dahil may gustong makita ang nakapaligid sa kaniya na hindi niya kaya at kung mahanap niya ang kaniyang sarili ay makakalabas siya para simulan ang bagong araw. Ito yung mas positive na interpretation ko may mas negative pa kasi na interpretation ako.

Speaking of animè sound track, probably another season of Jigoku Shoujo or Girl From Hell or something like Ayakashi Japanese Horror Classics would be perfect shows for this song. Depression and anxiety is no joke. These two can create a monster or an angel. I, being a victim of it is a proof na hindi siya biro. For almost 4 months di ako lumalabas ng kwarto. I ended almost killing myself. Grabe yung tama nung kanta niya saakin. Super deep ng song. Kaya sa iba na nakakaranas ng depression and anxiety, choose to fly.
