Love how Anthony educated Ron about the diversity and lack of religious extremism in the majority of democratic parliments around the world after Ron says, "only in America would you get a Muslim and a Jewish person in the same party"' It was nicely corrected and as a non American myself, I often wish that Americans were educated better about the fact that they are not the best and or unique or exceptional as they are told from birth. No one means to offend but it's hard to not as even the most sane Americans bristle at the idea that the USA is not the best or that they might not be seen as the "leaders of the free world". The rest of us know that is purely a slogan and as evidenced in current situation in Gaza that no other countries actually think the American President has anything like a moral authority but rather that since the world war of the 1940's America has had the world's major currency and that is traded against and the weapons of war that are sold to other Countries are made in the USA but there's no illusion that the USA is special in any other sense. In other countries, Politicians are public servants and dont bring their religion to work as in any other work place so Mike Johnson reading what trump has prepared for him to read but delivering the message sounding like he actually was in court himself and witnessed an "injustice" is enlightening. At the risk of being repetitive I must say how much I love this show for the conversation that Ron & Anthony have. Giving us facts, truths with proof , not giving us BS or hyperbole! I also really like that you can not always agree on certain things and it feels both sincere and natural. I can't agree more about that. Most of these idiots wouldn't be elected in most of Europe. Ofcourse we have a few lunatics of our own, but America is surely single on top of the list. The constitution begins with "We the people", most of the people screaming about their rights don't even know that let a lone know their own 1st amendment. I can’t forget that Michael paid his dues by spending time in prison, on solitary confinement what’s more. I completely appreciate what Anthony Davis, as a Brit, says about the debate and the media coverage. He sees us from a different perspective and it isn't pretty. We have become a very unserious country electing unserious candidates for the most important and consequential offices in the land as if our future doesn't matter at all.
