Let me tell you something funny! I am a 35YO east-european that in my 20's listened to a lot of electronic music, went to lost of gigs with artists like JOHN DIGWEED, SASHA, JAMES ZABIELA and never loved any other genres besides classic rock like QWEEN, THE BEATLES, LED ZEPPELIN, SCORPIONS, LINKN PARK, HIM and so on. I was at a point where a thought that I will have to live with this music for all my life because the new one (from 2010 and newer) is superficial and means nothing to me. And one night BOOB!! I discovered Mariya Takeuchi, Tatsuro Yamashita and Miki Matsubara going into the '80's pop music rabbit hole and discover a new world and I can not express myself how happy and refreshed I feel listening to this genre. I am obsessed and "torture" my friend with this lovely, pure, joyfull music every day! I beg japanese musicians to keep this genre alive because its a WORLD treasure that makes people happier and healthier and more connected! THANK YOU JAPAN!!
