Now that's what you call an interview in a true sense where the interviewer is truly able to create the comfort needed and show the unseen and untold side of a public figure in a positive way. That's what interviews are supposed to do. She framed the questions so brilliantly with the correct amount of emotion in her tone of speaking with utmost respect and dignity, with correct timing and pauses. She knows how much privacy is meant to be questioned in his personal life, how to start with light questions and create the base before moving on to deep triggering questions, how to approach a person to share his trauma by making him comfortable, which questions to divert, where to stop, and where to continue, where to let the actor express, where to console him, and to what extent. An absolutely brilliant, graceful, and amazing job by Samina Peerzada. After watching endless cringe talk shows and interviews of so-called interviewers who think that having a public figure with them means discussing their sex life, crushes, girlfriends, and dirty secrets and making fun of them and making them uncomfortable with questions they are not supposed to ask and misusing their power, finally a masterpiece interview. My heart is so full after watching this. More than the onscreen Wahaj, the sensitive, emotional, and thoughtful offscreen Wahaj is what relates me more to him. He's such a softie inside out. You aren't in a healthy emotional state if tears didn't roll down your cheeks during this interview. So thankful to the entire team for arranging this and bringing out the real Wahaj to the masses, he and his story deserves to be known. I wish we had more skillful professionals like her who knows to respect an artist and creatively manage to make them speak their heart out. Dil bhar aaya Wahaj ka interview dekhke.
