Hi everybody, thanks for watching! When we recorded this Norbert from Meinl (THE man) said this was the song with the most action and I guess he's right: "Cookies" is like a roller coaster: It starts slow and relaxed but then takes some unexpected turns and also one or two loopings 🤩 The album version also has a smooth outro which I simply hadn't written when we recorded the video. Nice..Nice ..NICE! Not only does the gear sound great but Jost is in the pocket and very rhythmic. Love Meinl cymbals and Sonor drums sound so full and deep.

Well the Sonor drums make sense now because one of the things I was thinking while watching/listening to this was "I wonder if he got Benny Greb to tune his floor tom?" because it has that same amazing deep punchy sound that Benny's always has. He also plays on Sonor drums and uses Remo heads.

Always a pleasure watching jost play drums. One of the smoothest drummers in the game. And I know the spectrum ride is Rodney Holmes signature ride but it might as well be the jost nickel signature ride at this point. He is so loyal to that ride cymbal haha

Amazing Drumming! Chef's kiss of a song. I like how your drumming and the other featured instruments completely complement the nature of the over-all tune. Nothing is overpowered or parallel in the mix. The perfect blend sounds like a jam! Whomever mixed this, you're a musical champion.
