Well, I think it goes beyond promoting their cymbals. I think they're doing what they can to support their artists :)

Probably one of the most underrated drummers alive. Rodney is as fast as any other player who maintains feel/clarity, has an extremely diverse set of styles, and is as creative as anybody.

I got to watch Rodney play with Steve Kimmock back in ‘06, from about 6’ away the whole evening. My mind was blown into little bits. I was particularly struck by the left foot technique on his hi-hat, rapidly floating it open and closed in 1/8 notes. I’d never seen anyone do that before or since.

One of the last few drummers of that era that has serious chops but knows only when to interject with them tastefully! Brilliant ! Thanks to Meinl for this HD video showing Rodney in all his glory !!! Yes

Rod "The God"! The blistering, signature chops show up but ONLY when it serves the song, never as a means to show off! His expressive playing style is so tasteful and truly unique! Not only an elite drummer but an incredible musician/ songwriter! This sounds amazing! "Twelve Months of October" was not just another album to me - It was extra special! I'm definitely hyped for Axiom! Bring it on Rodney!

I miss watching him play. My brother and I use to go Steve Kimock Band in Trenton, NJ at a long lost club known at the time as (The Conduit) and they had a little cafe restaurant next door, So before the show, we went for something to eat and ended up eating right next to the entire band. Steve, Rodney, Alfonz and I forget the other member.
