People trying to look better by lowering others is such a sad way to make your mark. Work to rise above the best, not by thinking that downing others will get you anywhere. The guy is obviously a hobby player, just trying to have fun and maybe love a lifelong dream. It's why they have adult beginner's rec leagues in most sports. No one thinks they're going pro or that they have the skills to do so, they're just adding something positive to their lives and making jabs at them is just a bad look.

@famousforever85563 жыл бұрын
@@BradyStudios97 The cymbals he uses versus what is released to the public are two VERY different things. Some of my friends have endorsement deals with major labels. For the drums my buddy endorses, his kit is custom made, his sticks are made in batches separate from mass production to ensure every one is PERFECT and cymbals are custom tuned and matched PERFECTLY. For bass and guitars, same thing, custom made to spec, pick ups are custom one-offs, The wood is hand selected to ensure perfect continuity and blemish free, with several lines mass produced being made of a different species to reduce the cost for the public. Although Adler may "endorse" this line of cymbals and may have even been included in the design of the line with his name on it, but don't count on ever being able to get the cymbals he plays at the price offered to the consumer. Just the drug residue on his personal set would bump the price up significantly! 🤘

@@famousforever8556 Interesting points, outside of companies sweetening the sound by EQ and using perfect acoustical studios to make promotional vids for product sales, what you mentioned is something I've never heard, wouldn't doubt it tho. **It's really difficult to get a good representative sound recording in a small, enclosed room with solid walls like this. There's always going to be unwanted echoes and reverb, especially with loud cymbals. Although several of these don't appear to sound very good here, that may be because of recording issues, it's hard to say. I previously bought a Zildjian 4 piece cymbal set(ZHT or ZBT, I dont recall which), and they sounded pretty good. On the other hand, the very first set i ever owned, came with a 16" or 17" Sabian B8 crash, but it sounded absolutely awful! It was the only crash i owned at the time, and i cringed every time i hit it, it was 'that' bad!**

We kept them because they do sound so fantastic and we use them and the 10' crash and 7" crash together for a trash stack. They sound awesome as well. Just some friendly advice bro, and just my opinion, but I played single kicks w/ double pedals for almost 11 years before switching to using 2 kicks, and what I learned was that it's best before you even think about new cymbals to just go ahead and invest in a rack. I have the Gibraltar GCS-450C rack with GCS-150C side extensions for both sides. It has saved alot of floor space, and the versatility of cymbal placement is endless. Also you should get a 2 leg or no leg hi-hat stand and a hi-hat to kick attachment. I bought and highly suggest the Mapex Falcon, it has 2 removable legs is the best Hi-hat stand I've ever used. I attached it to my left kick with the Pearl HA-130 attachment. Racks can be somewhat expensive at first especially with the multi clamp and boom arm purchases I've had to make, but it was worth it, I have alot of floor space now and my set up is perfect and everything in reach. Just a suggestion.

If you're not recording or doing gigs, they're all you need to get started and build your skill set with lessons and a lot of practice. The only thing I would caution is getting that many cymbals while still learning fundamentals. Too many cymbals, too many tons, too many distractions that will just make your playing sloppy. Hi-hats, a ride, two crash cymbals is plenty. Add splash and china when you have the muscle memory and have mastered multiple beats and rolls in many styles. Trying to make your kit look like Neil Peart's won't make your playing any more impressive.
